Amazon Novice Shop Must Know, What Kind Of Product Is Not Suitable For FBA

According to foreign media statistics, in 2017, about 1000000 new sellers entered Amazon's global stores, and nearly 1/3 of them came from China. However, despite thousands of new sellers, few of them can become active sellers. For Amazon platform, the choice of FBA has many advantages, but not all products are suitable for Amazon FBA. What products do you have?

One, too cheap products

The survey shows that products with a retail price below 7 dollars are not suitable for FBA. The reason is very simple. In addition to the necessary logistics and transportation costs, FBA will also charge a few basic fees for each transaction, specifically the product commission sale fee and the FBA storage fee. The Commission is generally charged according to the percentage, which accounts for 15%~26% of the value of the goods, and the FBA storage fee includes the order handling fee, the packing fee, the weighing fee and the storage fee. These extra costs lead to a lot of increase in the cost of the seller, and too cheap products will be unprofitable. Although businesses can choose to cooperate with professional international logistics companies, international logistics companies are invited to do the FBA head, not only the high commission of the product, but also the cost of transportation. However, commodities that are too low in retail prices are still likely to be unable to make ends meet.

Two, too big and too heavy products

Products are very heavy, or they are not suitable for FBA. This is also the reason for the cost, which is heavy or heavy, and the FBA transport cost is relatively high. Amazon FBA is still advised to choose medium and small pieces of goods. However, it is not to say that large goods, heavy goods and goods can not be put on the Amazon. In order to save transportation costs, it is suggested that businesses find professional international logistics companies to cooperate with them and make their own FBA head.

Three. Products without market

Review less products, sales volume is not good, that is, there is no market product. FBA has warehousing costs, and FBA warehouses are very cheap in the first 6 months of storage, but 6 months later, warehousing costs have risen 10 times, and a huge fee for Amazon merchants. Therefore, do not put Amazon as a warehouse, or sell goods that can be sold in the Amazon warehouse.

Four, the seasonally too strong product

FBA is not recommended for seasonal or festive products. This is because FBA needs to predict sales ahead of time. If a product is too seasonality, it will be difficult to predict sales. If the stock is short, in the event of a broken stock, it will seriously affect sales and even affect the weight of products and shops. If there are too many stocks, if we can't sell them, we can't wait for the next war.

Five. Products with short shelf life

Amazon warehouse is not a first in first out rule, there is no batch concept.  Products with short shelf-life are likely to expire when they are really sent to customers. Therefore, products with long shelf life are better.

Six, prohibited dangerous goods

The following is the Amazon logistics embargo:
